The growth of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is on the increase in the UK and the popularity of this fun watersport is now set to increase with the first ever indoor sprint competition.
The 2011 Tullet Prebon London International Boat Show is home to this first time event and will be run in the purpose built watersports action pool, inside the ExCel centre.From 15th January, the new watersports action pool is going to be the place to be as it will house two sprint challenges. The close, fast paced racing is going to have every spectator on the edge of their seats as the entire pool will be taken up with paddlers, turning markers and finish line.

For those wanting to try their hand and be part of this event, qualifying rounds are to be held on Friday 14th January.
